HI, Am looking for the above E.type , which my late father owned in 1969 , and 1970 . Its last known whereabouts , cica 1978 , were in the midlands area , Its possible that it may have been turned into a roadster ? , although i hope not . Any info would be much apreciated , thanks .

The British registration number is LFL-670F , this E is listed on the DVLA Swansea web site , and appears to have been ? unused for many years . This car was the first of my Dads 3 E-types .

I have many photos of my Dads 1st E, taken 1969 and 1970 , the early photos show that it was fitted with Black Painted Wires , which is something that i have not seen beforeon an E-Type , can anyone comment on this ? Later photos show it with Chrome Wires , so my Father must have had these fitted . Still searching for this car , and any info much appreciated.

Perhaps your Father had 2 sets of wheels and tyres, logical in our winter climate

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
