Cosmetics aside, this build features some very desirable mechanical upgrades. The rebuilt 4.2 six is tuned perfectly and breathes through a set of three Weber carburetors and an Italian exhaust by Ansa. It pulls like a freight train and sounds sensational, the extra power and roar an especially welcome addition when the top is down. New tires and a fresh brake booster keep it all in check when necessary, while the flawless gearbox and a new clutch make every shift effortless. Recently serviced and with a rebuilt power steering system as well, the Jag is easy to drive slow and even easier to drive fast.
