Ebay item 10/6/09
brakes. It also features new tires, new gas tank, new master cylinder, new exhaust, and new front suspension. The engine was rebuilt in 1999 by previous owner. The 4.2 liter motor pulls away fine and shows no smoke. I recently had it over 100 mph and for insurance reasons backed off. All the glass is good and the body the same. It is an older restoration, with the interior being redyed It originally had a blue interior, now it is black. The doors have new panels and the carpets as well are new. The sills and the fire wall are of an older restoration and are solid. The paint is good and of the period. The dash is good and all dials and switches work. Now the items which I need to point out here are all replaceable or repairable to anyone who likes to turn a wrench. I on the other hand am 75 years old and think it's time to stop prying myself out of this one. The passenger seat's back will not stay in an upright possission. It clicks back as you lean on it. There is a clip missing from one of the seat belt to fasten it. Both seats could do with a recovering kit. The black redye has dried them out. The door seal rubber and edging needs replacing but does not leak or make noise when driving. The sunroof, I have been told, is factory and is definatly period. It functions perfectly and The plastic deflector in the bonnet is part of it. It dimpled the top so I left it off. No leaks. There is a vibration in the front at 100mph but I did not rebalance the spokes, nor check the alignment when the new tires were installed with all new tubes. The car was originally blue on blue. She has 4 chrome spoked rims and a painted spoked rim spare, with a new tire. Nothing much else to say except buy this one and drive it away, I've had my day.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
