This car was ordered in March 1970 & arrived at Dealership in June. Problem: Color ordered was BRG & arrived as Willow green. I refused car as dealer searched for another FHC in BRG (not as easy back then). When none could be found after a few months we began to dicker about a reduced price & finally came to an agreement in December.
The car was completely dis-assembled in 1995 & repainted in Signal Red ( my wife's idea!) All original components were freshened & put back together with new rubber seals, belts & hoses.
The interior is original except for new dash pad in 1995 (original cracked when windshield was reinstalled), Carpets same yr. (correct), tires & wheels in 2000, & new seat hides/headrests in 2012. This car was used as one of the reference cars when Stew Cleave prepared the Series II JCNA Judging Guide. It has 64,000 + original miles on it & still runs great!

Good on ya Chuck, great to hear a car is still with its original owner!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
