Car offered for sale at:

Sellers description:
1964 FHC 3.8 with Webers - #890334 all numbers match - $20K

This is a delightful driver that I’ve enjoyed for over five years but my retirement and arthritis are forcing its sale. I bought it from a gentleman in Canada who had recently redone the body (new rockers and wings), repainted it (good from 10 ft but shows some spider webbing up close) as well as pulled the engine to address some stuck rings. He swore that the 16,400 on the clock were original but I’ve no way to prove that. However I’ve more than doubled that mileage and it’s running strong! It has never overheated, has great pressure and always starts!

Here’s most of what I’ve done
>Rebuilt IRS (all new u-joints bearings shocks/springs from Mr. Mooney, brakes etc)
>Brake system completely redone – fronts upgraded to four pots but I have the originals if you like to live dangerously – BTW it stops great!
>Rebuilt front suspension (all new bushings tie rods etc.)
>Interior - replaced dash pad and dyed seats – all gauges WERE working but the clock stopped again!
>Jet hot-coated exhaust manifolds new fuel pump
>All new tires and tubes
>New-geared starter motor
>Countless other little items – I have a thick folder of receipts etc to chronicle what was done since I’ve owned it.

Simply put it has never seen rain, never let me down, and been a source of constant joy. I’m looking for a good caretaker for her.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
