She started life as a hard top, but was converted 20 years ago to a roadster. Then she languished in a barn until two years ago when, at my son's request, I bought it from a sleazy used car lot. The engine was rusted out, so I chose to convert her to a Chevy small block with a T-5 five speed. She's running and drives like a dream, but still awaits installation of the top, paint touch up, a stereo, and detail work.

She started life as a hard top, but was converted to a roadster some twenty years ago. Then she languished inside a barn until reappearing on a sleazy car lot in Needles, CA where I bought her. Since her engine was rusted out, I chose to convert her to a small block Chevy V8 with a T-5 five-speed tranny. Although she awaits installation of her top, paint touch up work, a stereo, and some detail work, she drives like a dream and turns an awful lot of heads..

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
