This 1973 Jaguar XKE Series III Roadster is finished in British Racing Green over a tan leather interior and powered by a 5.3-liter V12 coupled with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black fabric top, chrome wire wheels with earless spinners, slimmer chrome bumpers, and a modern Pioneer head unit. This XKE roadster is offered by the seller on behalf of the late owner’s estate with spare parts, service records, and a clean Arizona title.
The body was reportedly repainted British Racing Green (602) in 2015 and is equipped with a black replacement cloth top. The larger rubber bumper overriders have been replaced with slimmer chrome units found on early US or European-market cars. Fender-mounted reflectors and sealed-beam headlights are retained.
Chrome wire wheels with earless spinners are wrapped with Pirelli P4000 tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes.
Tan leather seats were reportedly reupholstered in 2012 and are joined by matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes an under-dash air conditioning system as well as a Pioneer CD head unit with a USB port.
A stock three-spoke steering wheel rests in front of a black dash that retains Smiths instrumentation. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads approximately 87k miles. Wear is visible on the leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The 5.3-liter V12 sends power to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Four Zenith-Stromberg carburetors are fitted. A replacement stainless steel exhaust system was also installed in 2014. The seller notes several oil leaks.
The sale includes factory literature as well as several folders containing service records.
