Anyone know where I can verify if this vehicle was purchased at Plimley Motors in Vancouver? I am the administrator of the deceased owner who purchased the car in October 1974 from a dealer (believe Plimley but only the dealer number, 5041 is indicated on the transfer) Unfortunately the original documentation of the purchase was lost - I do have a copy of the original transfer but now wonder if this may have been a return/trade in as there is a previous registration number indicated on the transfer and the vehicle was imported to Canada in May 1974. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Isaac Bull, New Westminster BC Canada

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
