Ebay item 5/17/18 www.ebay.com/itm/1965-Jaguar-E-Type-ROADSTER/253627149092
Current bid: $26,100 reserve not met 15 bids, 6 days left in auction, seller mshe1315, 68k miles.
Sellers description:
1965 JAGUAR E-TYPE XKE 4.2 LITER SERIES ONE ROADSTER. LHD CAR # 160. MATCHING NUMBERS DRIVETRAIN. CLEAR TITLE. MAROON WITH RED TRIM. 4-SPEED. CHROME WIRE WHEELS. FACTORY HARDTOP. EXCELLENT CAR FOR IMPROVEMENT/ RESTORATION. 68K ORIG MILES.
Original colors are maroon with matching interior, and black top. Car number is 1E 10160, all numbers match. The carbs were just rebuilt and the engine runs with 60lbs oil pressure at warm idle but the compression is low. Shut lines are tight, the trunk lid lays flat. The top mechanism is operable and rust free. Chrome is a mixed bag - some pieces will polish up to driver quality or better, others will need refinishing or replacing. The wheel hub splines and wheels are all good with no detectable wear. There is little or no rust on the wheels and they should polish up.

Same photos as in the datasheet of car #1E10161
Photos were taken when the car was previously for sale at Kurt Tanner Motorcar a few years ago.

Thank you Daniel
I bought the car off Kurt Tanner and I also reported it to eBay.
The scams out there are so prevalent nowadays you need to be very careful.
The car has now been restored after three years by XK engineering and is a true concours example.
