I grew up in the 60's and thought the '65 to '67 XKEs were the coolest cars. When I got the chance to buy a "fixer upper" back in 2001, I jumped at the opportunity. For me, there is nothing like driving around with the top down and the scenery flying by. There is no better way to observe seasonal changes.

Just finished rebuilding engine and upgrading front brakes to vented rotor (Wilwood). Restored the engine area and painted it in its original opalescent silver blue. Also did new rings (.030 oversize). No smoking at all. No oil leaks. Yay!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
