Current bid $25,100.00 (Reserve not met), 21 bids, 3 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
The vehicle up for auction is a VERY ORIGINAL 1965 Jaguar series 1, 4.2 E-Type roadster with 76,619 miles. It is in excellent condtion, runs and drives like new.
This is a virtually rust free original car. The paint and body are in very good condition aswell as the top and boot. The original interior is in good condition showing average wear.
This is a MATCHING NUMBERS E-Type. The engine and transmission are original to this car. The 4.2 liter twin cam straight six runs extremely tight and strong. The transmission has a fully synchromesh 1st gear and shifts excellent.

Opening bid $39,900, no reserve no bids yet 5 days left in auction. Buy it now price $44,500. 77k miles.
Sellers description:
1965 Jaguar XKE OTS/Roadster Series 1. She has 77,628 original miles. I bought this car in early 2006. It is my understanding that I am the 4th owner. It is also my understanding that the paint is approximately 20 years old. In 2006 she had a complete renovation of the seats, new front carpets with underfelt, replaced underdash hardura panels, replaced gear shift boot, new hood envelope and added seat belts. The only mechanical issues that I am aware of is she is going to need a clutch and she has an exhaust leak. The paint looks good from a distance, but close up the age shows. There is a little ding on drivers side behind the door.
I moved to Michigan mid 2007....the story that goes with the move will be in the future book I'm going to write. My goal is to get back to my family in Indiana, selling my Jag is a step toward that goal.
