Sellers comment:
1966 Jaguar XKE
This car was freshened with paint and interior about 15 years ago. It is not ready for show but is a driver. We have used it regularly for the past seven years and it has been professionally maintained during that time. The interior is blue leather in good condition. Some interior surfaces are covered with material which is not authentic. The top is vinyl and in bad cosmetic condition with a tear, but it does it's job. The opalescent blue paint is of average quality and has the usual nicks you would wxpect with 15 years of use. It has a new non-Lucas alternator which is a good upgrade. The person who freshened the car fifteen years ago repaired rust in the floors. It is not possible to see what else he may have done. There is no evidence of rust on the exterior of the car. An area in the trunk has been badly repaired. What is under that repair is not known. So......you can have a $90,000 trailer queen which you are afraid to drive or a $20,000 used car which you can drive and enjoy with confidence. The odo, at 39,000 is not to be believed. As a bonus, this car has a matching color factory hard top.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
