If the owner of this car or the person who took the photo checks this before October 21, 2006, can you drop me a line? I'm interested in possibly using the photo in our calendar but would need a larger original to work from.

Opening bid $55,000, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
I have owned this car for 18 years. An absolute pleasure to own and drive. This car is stored in a heated garage in the winter and only driven on nice days. Each year, I take it on a 750 mile trip to the historic races at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI. It has been very reliable. The paint color is Opalescent Silver Blue and was repainted about 5 years ago. The car has never had rust though the foot wells are dented from the misuse of a jack before I owned the car. There are a few paint chips. The interior is an old (20+ years) after market kit with vinyl seats that should be replaced some day. The top is in good shape except for a small hole chewed in it by a mouse. The engine was rebuilt about 10 years ago with new clutch, new main & rod bearings, new valves (for unleaded fuel) and valve guides, stainless steel exhaust and rebuilt manual transmission. Despite my efforts, it still leaks oil. Also, recently re-cored radiator and new master brake cylinder and brake booster. All numbers match and all parts are oem except for steering wheel (Nardi), interior kit and starter. I still have the original starter.

I am looking specifically for an opalescent silver-blue roadster. If you have any interest in selling your car please let me know. I have a red '66 and an early outside bonnet latch car that I will trade or sell once I find a blue car. Thanks!
