Bought my 66 E-type disassembled in 1989...Since then, it has been a daily driver, a garage queen, a joy to have and drive. I have upgraded the brakes, repainted and re upholstered it... originally black with red interior, now it is red with black. I have plans to install a 5- speed. I wish there were other Jag owners up here in Cal. Gold country.. Other cars, 2006 XK8 convert.., 2008 XJ8 Vanden Plas and a1997 Jeep grand cherokee....

Hard top has an Annapolis sticker in the rear window, so probably a PO went to the academy

Bought the Jag in 1989. Was in pieces. Came with Factory black hard top. Apparently one of the previous owners went to Annapolis Naval Acadamy as there was a Annapolis decal in the rear window
