This incredible example is the beneficiary of a recent frame-up restoration that was done to such high standards, the car garnered an AACA award its first time out.
This 1966 Jaguar Series 1.5 E-Type is from the best of all the series XKEs to collect, drive, and appreciate. It is a true Series 1.5 E-Type. It features the 4.2 engine with fully synchronized manual transmission, comfortable bucket seats, center console, arm rest, and an improved brake system. Also, the Series I.5 4.2 features highly attractive covered headlights.

Car Condition: Show Driver Level
This incredible example is the beneficiary of a recent frame-up restoration that was done to such high standards, the car garnered an AACA award its first time out. Detailed in all areas, the exterior is a very handsome Golden Sand Metallic paint, totally correct for 1966. All chrome and trim is exceptional as well with no flaws. The Everflex soft top is so fresh in appearance; it looks like it had never been down. The engine has been fully serviced as part of the restoration and functions as new with excellent compression and performance. The bay is fully detailed to high-level show standards. The interior is also a joy to behold with the fresh smell of sumptuous leather wafting throughout the cabin. All of the controls and electronics work correctly and the car handles remarkably well. This roadster, without a shadow of doubt, is a remarkable Jaguar and a superb Concours Class show car that will enhance any serious collection.
