    Car listed on EBay:

    resto.It sat in a garage for 25 years, it had no rust and was very straight but the seals were all dried out and it leaked like a sieve. It drives better than when it was new. Even the boot cover was custom made at a cost of $450.00 to match the new beautiful cloth top. Oh yes, I even have a factory hard top painted to match the car with new chrome trim and rear window. I am only selling the car to buy a Ferrari, I would love to keep it but don't have the room. I have a bunch of restoration photos to give you an idea of the perfection that was pursued. The only mods from original are a lightweight aluminum flywheel, headers, electric fan and electronic ignition. Also searched high and low to find a rare european 3:07 rear which drops the RPM way down for smooth highway cruising and amazing acceleration due to the tremendous power this car now has. Rebuilt and re calibrated speedo which is now extremely accurate. These things make the car very driveable with a ton of smooth power and it will never overheat. I have all the original parts which have been refinished if you want to put car back to absolute original.

    Car is not really up for auction. It has a Buy-It-Now price of US $55,000.00

    Additional description from above auction:

    1967 Jaguar Series I E-Type Roadster
    LOT 213
    CHASSIS#:
    1E13184
    ESTIMATE:
    $ 80,000 -- $ 100,000
    The example offered here is just a two owner vehicle as the first owner purchased the E-Type brand new in 1967 and kept it till 2001. Following his purchase of the Jaguar the second owner opted to execute a concoursquality restoration in which every nut-and-bolt was redone at a cost of over $100,000. Included in the sale of the car are all receipt and photos of restoration. Presented in a lovely Sand metallic – a rare, but highly attractive original Jaguar color – with a black interior, top and boot cover and with chrome wire wheels, this remarkable E-Type has awe-inspiring eye appeal. Paint, interior, chrome, top and boot are in excellent condition. All numbers are matching and verified from the Jaguar Heritage Foundation paperwork. The car includes also the original complete tool roll, jack, and manuals, all in outstanding condition.

    The Jaguar has only 58,000 documented miles, with only 1,000 of them clocked post restoration. This 1967 XKE Roadster is mechanically superior to a new car, and can be driven and enjoyed as well as well as being shown with pride in any concours event.
    A highly detailed example this E-Type is worth a close inspection as it would undoubtedly prove a challenge to find fault in this car.
