Your car may be there on the line, the LH line is 2+2's and the RH line is SWB cars (OTS & FHC) and the third car on the RH line could be an OTS in Cream/Black although I'm not sure if it could also be Opalescent Silver Grey/Black, perhaps not as then it would appear darker. So you can think that it's your car! ;) Anyway it is LHD and the date was June 22nd 1966.

Also it makes sense they were made the same day and surely the Pale Primrose yellow 2+2 seen here was shipped the same way to the far east!

Hi, according to the JHT the dispatch date was Aug. 16th 1966, the delivery date in Japan must be later, but no accurate info available regarding that. Perhaps you have the original papers for the car that could show the date it was delivered to the first owner? Cheers!

Dear Mr.Pekka T,
My E-type was imported by Japanese official Jaguar Cars dealer "Shintoyo" at the time,
also, first registed and the car was deliverd to the first owner in 1967.
Many thanks you send me awesome photo, my car had the original factory hard top when it was new,
must be my car!

Hello,
I see you own a series 1 4.2 E type. This was my vehicle I imported it from California in the late 1980s to Northern Ireland, converted it to right hand drive. Used it as my wedding car! I have photos of it during restoration but no digital ones. It is great to see it looking so good. I hope you enjoy it as I did.

Hi, some anomaly, I could not remove the delivery date which is unknown, but apparently happened in 1967.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
