NICE JOB, JIM! I HAVEN'T LIFTED A FINGER TO WORK ON MY A-H 3000 FOR YEARS. YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY MUCH MORE AMBITIOUS. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE JOB IS COMPLETE? SHOW IT? BUY ANOTHER PROJECT CAR? IT LOOKS GREAT!

Hi Jim,
How long have you had the car on car stands? This the reason why. From my experience with older cars, when they are left on jack stands the springs in the rear because of lack of weight on them they get brittle over the years and they brake. If you have weight on them, then they stay more malible or soft and don't brake even though the car is just in the garage.
