Heritage Notes

I don't have this certificate, but was told by original owner that he ordered the car in honey beige/tan with lighter moquette, as when sold to my father. See below.

Car purchased by my father (I was with him) from original owner on May 1, 1969 with 13,000 miles. Was stored in 1976 at 21,000 miles. Damaged in barn collapse in December, 1980, temporary repairs done. Titled to me in 1996, restored 1997-2000 by XK's unlimited/myself. It is driven regularly in nice weather, runs perfectly. I have most original documents including warranty card.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
