Found this E-Type in the "Penny Saver" in Hayward Ca. in 1985. Purchased it from the original owner John Sedlak who bought it new in New Jersey. Sadly he has passed. He drove it two or three times from New Jersey to the Bay area where he worked. The car had no rust and was all original,,,well except for the bonnet. John had wrecked the car in San Francisco so he purchased a used bonnet for $50.00 from a local junk yard. This bonnet is from an early car as that cars' i.d. number is stamped on the inside, upper right side of the bonnet. Later bonnets did no have this stamp on them. Updated January 30th, 2020. Not legal proof of ownership. |

I purchased the roadster on January 23,1987 in Hayward, Ca, from John Sedlak. John Sedlak was the original owner who purchased the car (new) from Jaguar Cars of New York in early 1967. He relocated to the San Francisco area of California and registered the car in California in November 1970.
