Current bid US $44,600.00
Reserve not met 5 bids 9 day left in auction. 78k miles.
Sellers description:
This is no ordinary E-Type 80% of this car has been pulled apart and restored back to its original color. It has all matching #'s from new. The body of the car has retained itself with no rust EVER and is exceptionally clean and accident free. The paint was performed by a Pebble Beach quality painter who shows cars at this prestigious event. *All seams and spot-welds show through this quality, thin-paint application.* For those that know, this is a rare form of paint application as most cars are "skimmed thick" with bondo! Not this one! One of the highest quality bodies I've seen in recent years on an E-Type!
We have service receipts dating back from the late 1970's to very recent times. The engine has been rebuilt and shows excellent compression. Transmission shifts like butter. Recently new, correct size tires. *This car has come out of two major collections from the past two ownerships.*
HISTORY:
This late example of the pure-bred Series-One XKE was destined to the first owner, Mr. Cavon of Oakland, Ca. in 1967. Build date was March 2nd, 1967!
1983: Mr. MaCarthur became the 2nd owner.
1985: Mr. Moure became the 3rd owner.
1986: Mr. Krieger became the 4th owner.
1988: Mr. Sass became the 5th owner.
2012: Mr. Sturtz became the 6th, and most recent owner.
*All of these owners have been in the dry states of California and Colorado!
I have much more information on this car and its incredible history.

This stunning, matching numbers, original CA black plate 1967 Jaguar XKE OTS was completed at the Jaguar factory on March 2nd, 1967 and was destined to the first owner, Mr. Cavon of Oakland, CA. Raised on the West Coast in California, and recently in Colorado, it has lived a luxurious life being well cared for and pampered in a few large collections. It has been a very original car all its life, and recently was restored back to its original color of Carmen Red. The body of the car has never had any rust, is exceptionally clean, and accident free. The paint was performed by a renowned Pebble Beach painter who took his time to keep the spot welds and seams evident. It was completely stripped down when it was being painted, with all body panels being in excellent condition, and original to the car. The engine has been rebuilt, showing excellent compression, and the transmission shifts well. The interior is a soft supple beige leather that complements the striking Carmen red exterior. The XKE was recently shod with new, correct size Vredestein tires to make your ride more enjoyable. There are service receipts dating back from the late 1970's to very recent times. Fresh from a recent service, this highly collectible E-type is ready for this seasons show circuit, or just to be driven, enjoyed and admired.
