Ebay item 3/21/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-Jaguar-XKE-4-2-Series-Roadster-/120701180623
Current bid $20,100 reserve not met, 5 bids 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar XKE 4.2 Series I Roadster

This is a numbers matching roadster and I have owned this beauty since June of 1994. At the time of purchase, the Jag had already undergone a total nut and bolt rotisserie restoration by Northwest Imports LTD of Finksburg Maryland. Since the restoration, this vehicle has been fanatically maintained and stored in a climate controlled environment. Prior to acquisition it was entered into 2 JCNA Events and scored a 99.96 and 97.88 respectfully. The judging sheets will accompany the sale, in addition to all service records since I have owned the car. The restoration still looks spectacular (see photo's) It is equipped with the straight six cylinder engine with triple SU carbs delivering 265 HP, fully synchronized 4-speed transmission, and 3:54 final gear ratio.

The exterior is finished in the very desirable Jaguar Red exterior and accompanied by a Bisquit/Beige interior, finished with Connolly leather.

This is truly a beautiful automobile that still takes first place in local British Car Events. It also comes with the owners manual, original tools, five chrome wire wheels, and convertible boot cover. Also to accompany the sale will be two 18x24 posters and a special display sign that was utilized at auto shows and special events.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
