    1968 Jaguar E-Type Roadster,

This car is a Series 1.5 Roadster with numbers matching engine and gear box. The Jaguar Heritage Certificate comes with the car. This is an older restoration that requires the paint detailing in the engine compartment and refinishing the spare wheel compartment to take it back to original colour. The interior and roof were recently restored. It drives like a dream with lots of recent mechanical history! Buy this automotive work of art for only $ 88,000.00US.

Current bid: C $35,100 approximately US $26,574.81 reserve price not met 10 bids, 9days, seller bramclas, 6k miles, same location.

    Seller's description:

1968 Jaguar E-Type Roadster. This is a rare car in that it is a genuine Series 1.5 model with a triple carburetor set-up right from the factory which is unlike the normal American version that had twin carburetors. The car was originally delivered in Fort Francis, Ontario, Canada. The car runs excellent but needs some cosmetic TLC. The paint finish is old and needs areas of repair or (better still) a complete repaint. The body is completely corrosion free. The seats were recovered in the last couple of years with new original style covers. The carpet and roof were also replaced.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
