Just bought the car march of 2010,. found parked on the side of the road in Coronado calif with a ripped top half full of leaves and debris, believe it or not the car seems to run fine after a battery replacement. Shipped the car east to a nice warn comfy garage in Mystic Connecticut. I am currently feeding the car Chicken noodle soup and much love. hope to see a partial recovery by this summer (email)Updated April 4th, 2010. Not legal proof of ownership. |

I intend to ship the car to my home in Mystic Connecticut and initially restore it to reliable weekend driver. I could use some help in determining actual vintage of this car. Car has covered headlights, Rocker switches on the instrument panel and Ribbed valve covers. Even though it is registered as a 1967 I believe it's probably a 1968. At some point I'll probably apply for a heritage certificate

My goal is to stabalize the car and get the car on the road this summer without spending a fortune. The purchase gobbled up most of my extra cash. Looks like you got a good car to restore. To stabelize the car I would pull the interior out and treat and paint everything I could get to including the inside of the rocker panels with POR15, drill 3 1 in. access holes in the inner rockers to gain access to the rocker area and can be resealed when finished painting. It wont cost much and your car will love you for it.
