Ebay item 8/30/05 whatsoever….an amazing accomplishment for a Jaguar and demonstrates meticulous attention this car has received. This XKE drives, turns and stops extremely well and the chassis integrity speaks for itself as it is void of squeaks and rattles.
This is a true low mileage, reliable, stock and restored example which you will not be able to normally find anywhere on EBAY or through the local advertisements and it’s ready to enjoy and drive anywhere for many years to come. I don’t know the true value of this car is, but I can assure you that it won’t go down in value through age….look at it as a fun investment. With a little work, it can be concourse quality or can be driven and enjoyed as it stands. This one is guaranteed to draw stares and onlookers wherever you drive it, as you just don’t see many of these Jaguar classics on the road. Don’t spend upwards of $60,000 trying to duplicate the original nature of this Jaguar by buying a cheap Jaguar without much history or worse yet, rust, save yourself the time, frustration, money, and buy this one. I know, I have seen too much of this in the local Jaguar Club (buy a rusty fixer for $15k and end up spending 4X to get it presentable…not a wise move.) The car is located in San Jose, California, (just south of San Francisco), has a clean California title and is currently on non-operation status, so no back fees are due and does not require smog certification.
This XKE is ready to register in any state of your choice.
