This red E Type OTS came into the hands of the last owner in the 1980s as an import from England. As the operator of a renowned car dealership in Gmunden with a repair shop, he had mastered the craft and possessed the ability to fully restore the Jaguar. Although everything was done in house, the expert advice of the neighbouring Healey and E Type restorer, known for his penchant for perfection, was often used during restoration.
After more than 3 decades, the Jaguar still shows no signs of age, which testifies to the meticulous detail of the work. In November 1986 the Jaguar was road approved and registered. From then on, the Jaguar enriched a small and exquisite collection and was also regularly used by the owner. According to his widow, the Jaguar was the favourite of his cars. The Jaguar has been deregistered for the past 4 years and is now being made available for the connoisseur of true beauty and craftmanship.
