Vehicle Description

This auction is for a 1968 Jaguar XK-E Series 1.5 Roadster with a 4.2L inline 6-cylinder and 4 speed manual transmission. All major parts are original. All numbers ( car / body / engine / gearbox ) are original to the car and match the tags. I am the third owner. The car drives great and is mechanically excellent. Engine runs smooth with great power and no smoke. I have receipts for all parts/replacement parts put into the car.

Engine top end ( piston rings, valves, carbs ) rebuilt, new clutch / throw out bearing, tune up, battery, radiator re-core, etc. completed when purchased... Receipts available...

Oil and filters always changed when necessary.

Some minor rust in the door skins, and it needs some body work. The chrome is original, and has slight pitting. The car has its original red leather interior, original vinyl roof, and tonneau cover. A new windshield was installed approximately three years ago. All the electrical is in perfect working order, and all gauges work and look perfect. This car has always been garaged and has very little rust. This car has never been involved in an accident. Tires are in good condition with long life left.

The car has an aftermarket radio / cassette player, but is mounted in original factory location and housing. It works great.

I have some original literature with the car. Also have two workshop repair manuals, original jack, and hub knock off tool.

I have many extras available including rubber seal kit, door skins, mechanical parts available
