Sellers description:
This Jag has been in the family since the early 70's I believe my parents were the 2nd owners, the car has been sitting most of its life in the garage under a cover. The car was last driven on an occasional basis in 1999, since then its been started and driven very little, just a few times around the block. Last time it was started was last year. The car is extremely solid, I used a magnet to check all the normal areas and from what I can see its totally rust free. There are a number of dings and dents that I tried to capture in the pictures, the largest is in the lower rocker panel on the passengers side. The Glass is perfect, no cracks or fading. As for the gauges, they all work with the exception of the speedometer and the tach is showing higher RPM's then it should. All lights, fans work. The top is old and has a small hole on the drivers side in the back where the top corner of the frame pushes on the top. I believe my parents made some small changes from the original car, adding the 3 downdrafts instead of the 2, not sure what else. Please look at the pictures for details. The car comes with a set of new brakes and rotors, electronic distributor and just needs to be installed.

I purchased this car from a family in Maine that have ownerd the car for the last approximate 42 years. The car has documented mileage of 33,000 miles and is remarkable original condition, but needing a full restoration. Obviously the covered headlights and tri-carbs have been added, as well as a paint job in the early 1970s changing the color from the original light blue color to silver. Other than that, the car is in essentially original unmolested condition. The leather seats are original and in decent condition, Chrome and bright works in generally excellent condition. Engine compression averages 175 psi. The speedo seems to work fine as well as the tach and all instruments. No rust whatsoever, but a tired car needing attention. Restoration is underway.
