This lefthand drive 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series 1½ Roadster was supplied new to California before being taken to Florida. The vendor purchased this car in Florida from a deceased estate a couple of years ago, the American owner had had this car for over thirty years and within that time the Jaguar has been repainted. This E-Type has just been imported to the UK and as the catalogue is going to press the UK registration has been applied for. The E-Type Series 1½ will be supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which will expire in May 2015 and the Florida title document with some invoices and handbooks. This rust free example would benefit from some restoration as the paint has discolored but it is reported by the vendor that it runs and drives well. This icon from the 1960's, is regarded as one of the most beautiful cars ever built and is one of the most useable investments in the world, not only as part of a car collection but for use at rallies and special events.
