    Car now offered at:
    www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/classic-car-page.php/carno/112288

    Sellers description:
Built 18th October 1967 this original right hand drive car was dispatched to Jaguar dealer Henlys Ltd Manchester and to its first owner E. J. Lord on the 3rd November. With a total of five recorded owners the car retains its original registration number of JND 848F. Having had continuous ownership since 1995 the car remains in generally very good order, the interior having been re trimmed and a new hood fitted in the recent past. The body of the car is virtually corrosion free however there are some small blemishes and marks to the paintwork. Mechanically the car is very sound and runs particularly well having had a service and general check over earlier this year. This is a very usable and sound example for anyone who likes their cars to look ‘Classic’.
With the 50th anniversary of the E Type looming next year, prices will continue to rise, with pristine examples making circa £80,000. At this level there is plenty of room then to use and improve this example of what is still the best looking post war British sports car and certainly the most exhilarating to drive.
