Delivered new to the UK, this original righthand drive matching numbers example is offered in very good order throughout having been maintained to a high standard for many years. The paintwork and upholstery present very well as does the engine bay. This E-Type formed part of a significant collection in Italy for many years and was treated to an extensive body restoration before being repatriated to the UK. In more recent times and in the current vendors ownership, this E-Type has been maintained to a very high standard with works including an upgraded radiator and cooling system, an overhaul to the carburettors, a new fuel pump and a DAB radio with iPhone connectivity. Also fitted were upgraded BCC front brakes, a new steering rack and a 123 ignition system.
Offered with a sizeable history file including many sundry invoices dating back to the 1980s, a UK V5C registration document and bills for the recent maintenance work, this wonderful example is reported to be in good running and driving condition. E-Type coupés make wonderful road cars and are fantastic event cars. This particular example is in very good order and would be a great car for weekend shows or drivers events.
