The bodywork has been the subject of a massive restoration involving an entire new floor and boot, inner and outer rear wings, new B posts, doors and some repair to the lower bulkhead and tonneau area - it is virtually new except for the roof and upper bulkhead. Fortunately the bonnet was in excellent condition (I suspect it was a replacment in the 1980's) and this made the job worth doing.

The engine has been fully rebuilt and dynamically balanced, All the suspension has been restored and modest upgrades have been done including polybushing and Gaz shocks.

I can't wait for the first drive - I have been waiting 12 years!

Hi, really nice work and really nice to see someone get the colours correct! Acc. to Clausager Grey was an original but rare option for OSB S1 4.2's. What confuses most today is that what Jaguar called "Light Blue" (and "Pale Blue" earlier on MKV/MKVII/XK120) is what people now would call "grey" and what Jaguar called "Grey" in the 1950's and 1960's is actually very light and most people today would easily call it "beige" or even "tan" or "light tan", when Jaguar did have those colours available too (but not for OSB) but they were very different to the colours most people "think" they are. I managed to get a few leather sample booklets from the JHT, can you confirm that your Jaguar "Grey" is Connolly VM.3230 or something else? Cheers!
