First sold in March 1966 by Henleys of London, this Home Market car has been meticulously restored and tastefully upgraded to enhance its performance, reliability, and usability, while maintaining its original charm.

The comprehensive nut-and-bolt restoration was completed over several years by renowned restorer Peter Chambers. Peter, who has a background in historic race car restoration, undertook this project for his father, who owned the car from 1987 until its sale in 2014. Chambers’ restoration included a new bonnet, door skins, outer sills, rear quarters, and a bare-metal respray in Jaguar metallic grey cellulose. The result is a body that looks as good as new and has been treated with Wax oil for long-term preservation.

Mechanically, the car has been fully overhauled, including a rebuilt engine, gearbox, and rear axle with new bearings and seals. The brakes have been upgraded with Coopercraft callipers and Series 2 E-Type components at the rear.
