hi car owner, I am the owner of the car produced 2 vehicles before yours, a series 1 with open headlight bonnet, referred to by the JCNA, as a series 1.25, and as wondering if you have the Heritage certificate naming the date of manufacture. Mine was the 12th to 18th of December 1967, but the anomaly is the engine number, that appears to be from June/July 1967.I was wondering if you could fill in the extra details on the forum, so that I can work out when the tradition to series 1.5 occurred.
Many thanks Antonio

Sod by Trade Classics of Leamington Spa in November 2018.

Built in December 1967 and first registered on 12th January 1968. Described as a winter project, an opportunity to bring life back to a home market right hand drive fixed head coupe. The bodywork is solid, it has been repaired and had replacement front frames fitted in the past. The floors, sills and bonnet are in good condition. The paintwork is poor quality and it needs a full bare metal respray. The front windscreen has some de-laminated areas in the corners. The wheels are in good condition and the tyres have plenty of tread. The interior is in good condition with just a small hole to the driver's seat to repair. The engine maintains good oil pressure and starts easily. The suspension and brakes require a total overhaul.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
