Purchased the car in 1988. Drove for a 3,000 miles in 1988 and then mothballed preparatory to a full frame off. Mechanicals and more complete; ETA ~1 year hopefully.

    Same owner since 1989.

Man this is a sweet looking ride. Hope you enjoy it.

Purchased car July 1988; as a 'paid off my student loans' present. I believe I am the 3rd owner. Car was Crimson Red when purchased; however, firewall showed pale primrose, so restored to that color. Heritage Certificate confirms original exterior of pale primrose.

I chose the cinnamon interior after some pain as to retaining originality; I simply could not resist the cinnamon.

Still a work in progress, but after 27 years with no driving (1989 - 2007), I’m enjoying it in between work.

My biggest focus going forward is the bonnet alignment, which I’m a bit nervous about, not sure shims alone will do the trick.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
