Listed for sale on the JCNA web site in Lincoln, MA.. "59,000 mile, highly original, two owner car in rare dark green with black color scheme. JDHT certified matching numbers. One owner since 1976. Stored from 1979-2011. Recent photo documented conservation including full reconditioning of all mechanicals and bare metal respray in original Opalescent DG. All original body panels (except door skins). Original interior (except head liner). Original chrome (except tail lights and bumper over-riders). Rare original reconditioned Dunlop wheels and circa 1974 Michelin X tires. Original spare wheel and tire, tool kit and owner's manual. Featured in April, 2014 issue of Hemming's Sports and Exotics. First in class Jaguar Club of SNE 2013 annual Concours. Driveability/reliability upgrades: gear drive starter, Koolkat fan, electronic SU fuel pump, Pertronix distributor, stainless steel exhaust, Minilite wheels with Pirelli P4000 tires. Removed original components come with the car including original steering wheel and shift knob. Note: front sub-frame and firewall were painted black circa 1977 and, although not correct, were left as is as the goal was to retard further decay while preserving as much as the car's history as possible. This car will appear to a buyer who values the look and feel of an original interior for a complete driving experience. A very similar two owner low mileage coupe with the original, but much worn interior, recently sold on EBay for $75,000."

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
