1966 Jaguar E-Type Coupe for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this stunning 1966 Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupe featured in Signal Red with Black interior. This is an original California car that has a huge history file going back to the 1980's. It was fully restored in the late 1990's at and in the early 2000's was shown in JCNA concours a number of times. The history file includes reports showing the car earning as high as 99.91 points in numerous outings. In 2015 the car was acquired by a respected local collector who has receipts from a local specialist for about $16,000 in refreshing the car. In 2012 this Jaguar was featured in a 4-page drive report in Vintage Roadcar magazine. The car rides on sparkling chrome wire wheels with period-appropriate wide white sidewall tires. All mechanical components are original to the car, and the triple carb 4.2L DOHC six and 4-speed manual gearbox deliver the performance that E-types are renowned for. While an older restoration, the cosmetics remain in show condition and the gentle patina makes this a car that you can drive, tour, or show with pride.
