This car was bought by my uncle in the Chicago area in 1971. It's been in storage and unregistered since 1989. A driver quality resoration is planned.

Stan, let me be the first to welcome you to the database. It appears from the two photos posted so far that you have a solid car to work with--and with a known history. Do you plan to retain the current colors? I'm currently--and slowly--restoring 1E32208.

Mark. Thanks for the welcome. It'll probably stay white but thats always subject to change I guess. The car had 36000 miles on it in 71 when my uncle got it and 49000 on it now. The motors free and has good compression. I plan on starting to take it apart in the spring and see where I'm at with it. I know the name of the original owner and the person my uncle got it from. Not sure if there were more owners in between.
