Sellers description:
Restoration project. This is a series one car, two seats, not 2+2, with the covered headlights, improved transmission and better seats. This Jaguar has been partially restored, most rust repairs have been completed, including floor replacement, inner and outer rockers, trunk floor, one door skin while other was repaired, and many more parts. This is the most expensive part of restoring a E-Type, as rust is a major problem with these cars. Bonnet has been disassembled, but not restored, and needs a few minor parts though an expensive brand new underpanel will be included. Engine and transmission have been removed. Car shifted great and ran well prior to being disassembled. Engine had around 135-140 compression but leaked oil.Probably needs gaskets, seals and a valve job at a minimum. This is a matching numbers car, mostly complete, needing its restoration competed.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
