Car sold for $69,120 at the 2004 Barrett-Jackson auction at Scottsdale. Description:

"A recent restoration was completed by Classic Showcase to this superb example. The craftsmanship is excellent as well as the fit and attention to detail. This is an orignal Opalescent Blue with dark Blue interior with matching numbers and very orignal. The 1967 XKE's make fantastic drivers are very collectable, the E-Type series. Truly a superb example."

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
