Current bid $15,000, reserve not met, 1 bid, 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
Complete restoration - rebuilds of engine, clutch, brakes including master and booster, shocks, SU carbs, alternator, fuel pump, gas tank. Has AC with new R134A compressor. Modern radiator and AC fans.New exhaust system. Replaced footwells, trunk floor, outer sills and rustproofed all cavities. New windshield. New OSJI interior. Chrome OK. New gold/beige paint 5 steps from bare metal to clearcoat. Car inspected by local expert.

I bought the car locally in 1999. The previous owner had plates back to 1973 (Texas). That's all I know about its history. The engine was out and had been overhauled. I spent the next 6 years restoring about everything - sounds like a long time but it's a hobby I enjoy - did an MGTD before. I have a 60 page notebook of photos of the restoration - unfortunately not e-mailable. In addition the steering shaft u-joints and front ball joints were replaced, etc.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
