1E33735 is my venerable 1967 E-type, bought in early spring 1982 as a weddingh gift from my wife. In latter 1982 she (the car not my wife) underwent an engine rebuild and cosmetic restoration. Now we are in the midst of doing a second restoration replete with a half dozen upgrades. The car is equipped with Weber carbs, reground cams, tuned headers and beefier sjuspension such as Konis etc. She is a fire breather.

    Ebay item 10/28/18

    www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Jaguar-E-Type-Series-1/273528791905

Car has a buy it now price of $60,000 for 6 days, seller birdie0333, 67k miles, location unchanged, reported VIN on this car is J671E33735BW, the BW suffix is inconsistent with this model car, J67 implies it was originally sold in California.

    Seller's description:

SINGLE OWNER AND GARAGE KEPT SINCE 1982!!! 1967 E-Type Jaguar Series 1 Coupe with Weber Carburetors. Metallic Blue with Gray interior. Covered Headlights, manual transmission, and wire wheels.

I forgot in my last comment that the exhaust has been also replaced with BELL stainless steel big bore manifolds and mufflers. The 6 branchs was very rusty and leaking, poor old thing!

My son bought the car to Beverly Hill Cars Club LA 2021 may.
The E type arrived in France 2022 april.
A lot of (rather easy) work on the electrics, triple Weber DCOE45 overhauled, front suspension and steering renewed, electronic ignition 1.2.3 to replace the worn electronic mallory.
Just wait fresher temperatures in SW France to enjoy!

Hard tu have the triple Weber properly tuned: lot of spit back, and one day the air filters foam cought fire! Fortunately we were 2 on board, my son getting the fire extinguisher ready, and my self opening the bonnet warning not to be burnt by the flames exhausting from the RH louvers...

Fire extinguished immediately, no damage on the engine and engine bay, only the dark blue painting of the bonnet close to the louvers will have to be cared...

Since, the Weber have been properly tuned (far too lean before!) and new individual air filters on the horns, all metallic stainless steel mesh gauze...

2021 july I sold my XK120 OTS (year 1950 number 660485) whicwas mine from 1964 november... To buy with my son her litlle sister this E type, which was also the property of one of her owners for more than 30 years!
Too old presently to be faithfull for such a long time! My son will be able...

    I sold my 1950 XK120 OTS (660485) year 2021 to a british citizen. I baught the car nov 1964.
My son and myself got the E type FHC 1E33735 imported from California to France.
We hope, mainly my son, to keep the car as long as Mr FRANCK, 30 years, and maybe as long as the XK, 57 years !!!
