Current bid $17,100 (Reserve not met), 10 bids, 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This 1967 fixed head coupe is a Series I and is NOT a 2+2. It was picked up in England on Febuary 14, 1967. I am the second owner, there is no damage history ALL NUMBERS MATCH. Fully checkedout by Briatilla Motors in Fullerton who has worked on the car since I got it in 1993. I did a extensive restroation but it is not a "show car". It is very clean but not perfect..no dents but some scratches. It has always been a Southern California car, no rust, ect. I replaced the old cluch driven fan and replaced it with 2 full time electric fans, so it does not overheat. It runs great, fast and solid. Iam selling due to a medical reasons. This is one of the last series I, so it has the full syncro trans, the good clutch. It really is a nice car that never fails to trun heads when I drive it. New seats (black leather) headliner, chrome etc.

This is the most desirable FHC Series I E-Type there is and it is a great ride.

And - did it sell, all right..??? Yessir! $40.099 (!) for a FHC is just wonderful news and proves in my opinion that the good, original coupes like this one are on a healthy upswing in both value and deserved appreciation!
Well done! Congratulations - and the best of luck - to the new owner!!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
