This car is currently part of John Peters’ personal collection. John owns Sports and Classics, a well-known British car parts shop, this Jaguar has been kept as original as possible. One more bonus: we’ve got the original bill of sale from when this car was purchased from Eastman Greenwich Dealership Inc. in Greenwich, CT.
John spotted the car in the most unexpected place, although that is rather normal for John as he is always on the lookout for British cars. One spring day while stopping at a nursery while picking up rose bushes for his family. He made a deal that day. Now, it’s ready for someone else to take it home and make it part of their own story.
Interior and Features
Inside, you’ll find the original Connolly black leather seats and wool carpets, along with new wool floor mats. There’s no radio, just the pure sound of the engine as you cruise. It’s simple, classic, and true to its time.
What’s Been Updated
Brakes: It’s got a new Lockheed brake master cylinder and servo, rebuilt Dunlop calipers, and new rubber brake lines.
Exhaust: The car features a new complete mild steel exhaust system from front to back, staying true to its original design while ensuring smooth functionality. The alternator was even rebuilt to keep the focus on the original.
