Sellers description:
1968 Jaguar XKE Coupe .
This is a nice rust free driver, previously a Nevada car.
The car has a new clutch, pressure plate was balanced as was the flywheel . New hoses, new brake system. Both master and slave cylinders have been rebuilt.
When the engine is cold the compression test reads:
piston number one, 155
piston number two, 154
piston number three, 155
piston number four, 153
piston number five, 155
piston number six, 154
The car has the original upholstery, one tear on back deck, see picture. Runs and drives very well. Car has new gaskets around doors. The seats have a nice petina . The chrome is in fair condition and presentable, they have a few scratches. The front left bumper has a small dent.
The overrider use to have a crash bar which we removed, there are drill holes from where the crash bar was in place. The overrider has a very small dent.
The car presents very well, wire wheels are in good condition. The paint is very presentable it does have some small scracthes and a few small dents see pictures. The paint has some light discoloration. Overall the condition of the paint is very presentable. The exhaust was modified by the previous owner, it is a litle bit louder but, sounds quite good. We changed the front crank shaft seals replaced them with new seals. Since the engine was out of the car we took the time to detail it.
When the transmission was out of the car at the same time we changed the front shaft seal of the transmission.
New battery, radio works, do not have original factory jack, car comes with a jack just not original.
