    Ebay item 7/13/13
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-Jaguar-Series-1-1-2-Coupe-Very-Nice-Numbers-Matchin ...
Opening bid $28,000, no reserve, no bids 9 days left in auction. 80k miles.

    Sellers description:
Nice 1968 Jaguar Series 1 1/2 Coupe. It is a 2 seater, with open headlights, rocker switches, and 2 Stromberg carburators. The car is in excellent mechanical condition, and runs great. It has the books, tools and tire jack. The odometer reads 80,000 miles, and I believe it is accurate. The paint is in good condition, with some some chips, while the chrome is excellent. The interior is in great shape, and all the gauges work. This is an extremely nice driver, and would take very little to put in show condition. There is no reserve on the this car.

Current bid US $5,100, no reserve 4 bids 6 days left in auction. Caution this auction bears the signs of a scam. Same photos and description as above, even mileage. Now said to be located in Vermont, seller rbcondon.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
