Am the original & only onwer of this car. Presently in the middle of a complete restortation in hopes of bringing it back to the condition it was in when I pushed it out of the dealers showroom. I believe it was built in early January 1968. Purchased in Indiana.

Am still the original and only owner. Have restored the entire car to #2+ condition and kept it period correct and all the important numbers match the build plate. The old 3;54-1 ratio differential was making expensive noises, so I rebuilt it using new 3;07-1 ring and pinion gears, my only change to this car since it left the factory 53 years ago. After all these years, I still find it stunning from any angle and still enjoy the driving experience. Someone once said that if you have substandard looks, driving an E-type gets you more attention than a Saint Bernard with a tragic limp! Will see if that bit of wisdom is true once I remove it from the Car Bag in April Larry Rowe

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
