    1966 Jaguar E-type Series 1 2+2
    Lot 155
    Registration Number: DMJ 6D
    Chassis Number: 1E 50139
    Estimate: £18,000- £21,000

This S1 2+2 E-Type finished in the period colour of pale primrose, with black leather is an all original car. The car was used as part of a showroom display for three years before the current owner purchased the car in 2003. Serviced since 1990 by John Milicevic (three times British Formula 3 champion) both engine and transmission are described to be in excellent order. A new 12 blade Kenlow fan has been fitted to assist engine cooling, and is a sensible modern modification. With a current MOT until May 2011 and UK V5 document, this four seater E-Type provides the opportunity for practical E-Type ownership, bearing rear seats - making it perfect for a young family or a motoring dog.

Purchased by me [see 860430 and EX100] in October 2017 for daily use.
Good solid car with cosmetic blemishes but (now!) drives great.
