Owned by the vendor for 17 years
Impressive history folder
First registered on 13th October 1966, this Jaguar was restored in 1994 and has been owned by the vendor since August 2002. The original specification was red and automatic transmission, during the restoration the body colour was changed to Gunmetal Grey and a manual gearbox appears to have been fitted a number of years prior to the restoration. Two history folders accompany this E-Type confirming she has been a very well maintained and much loved car. A new set of stainless wire wheels were fitted in 2016 and a stainless steel exhaust system fitted in July 2015. At some stage the cylinder head has been converted to run on unleaded fuel. The vendor has enjoyed owning this Jaguar immensely, taking the car on trips to Wings and Wheels, Silverstone Classic and Le Mans Classic. Best described as a good genuine example in thoroughly useable condition, this 2+2 fixedhead coupé is a British icon.

Restored in 1994
First registered on 13th October 1966, this Jaguar was fully restored in 1994 and is in lovely condition. It is presented in Gunmetal Grey with black leather trim and has the essential full-length Webasto sunroof. During the restoration, which is documented with photos that are contained within the history file, the mechanics were seen to by J.D.R. Motors. Prior to the restoration, a manual gearbox was fitted to exact Jaguar E-Type specification to fully enhance the driving experience. A significant history file accompanies this E-Type confirming it has been a very well maintained and a much-loved car. A 2018 valuation by F.J. Footman (in the history file) states a value of £75,000. A new set of stainless wire wheels were fitted in 2016 and a stainless steel exhaust system was fitted in July 2015. The cylinder head has been converted to run on unleaded fuel and our vendor has obtained a recent MoT test certificate (regardless of the car being exempt) which this Series I easily passed with no advisories. Described as a beautifully genuine example in thoroughly useable condition, this 2+2 fixedhead coupé is a British style icon and an enjoyable investment.
