Ebay item 11/21/04 cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid £10,100.00 (Reserve not met), 2 bids, 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
We are always happy to have E-Types in stock but especially when they are in our favourite colour scheme and are as well looked after as this one. This is a 1966 genuine Right Hand Drive Jaguar E-Type Series 1 2+2. The car is finished in Primrose Yellow with a Black Leather interior. The car has been completely restored in recent years and still looks superb with the interior being as new and the bodywork looking superb with only one area on the front valance looking a little rough. The car is the superb easy to live with Automatic and the 2+2 spec makes the car very practical for carrying kids or very small friends. I have very little history with the car but the car will speak for itself upon viewing!
Interior:
The interior of our car has been completely restored and can only be described as "As New". It is absolutely superb being finished in Black Leather and everything works as it should. Nothing needs doing and it is a lovely place to sit. The carpets are also new and the luggage area has no rips or tears. All the dials and Gauges work as they should.
Exterior:
The Primrose Yellow paint is generally superb with a wonderfull deep shine although there are a couple of paint chips and also an area on the front valance that has started to look a little rough compared with the rest but nothing £150 would not fix. The chrome wire wheels are excellent and all the glass area is superb. The chromework is also superb.
Mechanical:
The car starts first time and the engine pulls strongly, the gearbox is very smooth and the car drives extremely well. The engine bay is not detailed however and has all the road muck you would expect from a regular driver. There are no knocks or rattles and the car drives effortlessly.
Summary:
The Automatic 2+2's are extremely practical cars and are significantly undervalued at the moment. They are really easy to drive, easy to live with and have all the looks of a regular e-type but you can get your kids and a picnic in the back! Our car is in a superb restored condition and is finished in our favourite sixties colour scheme. She has a current MOT, the Tax is free and she is ready for her next owner! Registration Number is GFX131D
